Job Description
The labor foreman is also expected to manage and train the staff and workers to complete the tasks effectively. A few job duties of a labor foreman are as follows:
- Managing daily routine employee and worker-related issues
- Training and development of the workers on-site and off-site
- Transporting workers to and from the site after proper electronic attendance
- Counting workers before and after starting a project
- Working under the supervision of the site manager
- Ensuring that the project will be completed on time
- Identifying the quantity and quality of workers required for any particular project
- Ensuring labor’s safety and security all the time
- Arranging proper accommodation for the workers
- Managing visa-related issues of the workers
- Ensuring all the machinery is up-to-date and functional
- Administer all worker-related affairs as per the site manager’s instructions
